Services Offered at Birth Haven
Birth Haven offers a wide range of services designed to promote the well-being of its residents and their babies. Once admitted to the Birth Haven program, we arrange for every resident to receive pre- and postnatal medical care and counseling, the social services to which she is entitled, adoption counseling, and access to continuing education as well as to volunteer and employment programs.
Just as important is the Life Skills Program, in which every resident participates. This program focuses on parenting and life skills, mental health development, and life enrichment--all with the goal of allowing each young woman to achieve self-sufficiency and stability.
Overall, the many services that make up the Birth Haven program give young women the tools that will help them to carve out independent and fulfilling lives.
